Biography

After 28 years of practicing law Mary E. Pryce decided to permanently retire on December 31, 2025. Dugoni & Lee, APC continues to be available to assist in your legal needs. Mary received her law degree from Santa Clara University, her LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and her BA from San Jose State University. Mary’s practice has focused on estate planning, probate and trust administration. She has been a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law with the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mary has also been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Peninsula Estate Planning Council, the San Mateo County Bar Association (Co-Chair from 2008-2009 & Chair from 2010-2011), the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of the California Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mary has spent much of her professional career in service to the public and lawyers. She has spoken to groups and at community colleges on estate planning, gifting, and estate administration. In addition, she regularly lectured with the California Continuing Education of the Bar and State Bar of California on the following topics: Fundamentals of Postmortem Trust Administration, Using Decedents’ Estates Judicial Council Forms, Litigating Creditors’ Claims in Probate Court, Recent Development in Probate, Trusts, Guardianships and Conservatorships, and Selected Federal Tax Legislation Cases and Rulings.
